Lorenzo Granato
Founder & CEO
Lorenzo Granato is the Founder and CEO of Hook, where he oversees all initiatives across product, business development, sales operations, recruiting and other corporate functions. Before founding Hook, Lorenzo led business development at Humanitas Research Hospital, one of the leading health systems in Europe. At Humanitas Research Hospital, he was responsible for special projects and business development efforts. Lorenzo studied business and entrepreneurship at EBS London, and holds a master in healthcare management from SDA Bocconi.
Kevin Carroll
Chief Growth Officer
Kevin Carroll is Chief Growth Officer of Hook, where he oversees revenue-generating functions in the development of new business, client experience, retention, and business-to-business integration & alignment. Prior to joining Hook, Kevin led Client Management, Business Development, and Operations groups at Anthem, Change Healthcare and McKesson/RelayHealth. Kevin’s career in Healthcare spans over 20 years working with the nation’s largest Providers, Payers, and Healthcare IT solutions vendors. Kevin studied Communications and English Literature at Hiram College in Ohio.
John Halamka

John Halamka, M.D., is the president of Mayo Clinic Platform. Dr. Halamka oversees the future direction of the Mayo Clinic Platform that will help establish Mayo Clinic as a global leader in digital healthcare. Prior to the Mayo Clinic, Dr. Halamka served as the executive director of the Health Technology Exploration Center for Beth Israel Lahey Health in Massachusetts. Previously, he was Chief Information Officer at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center for more than 20 years. In his role at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Dr. Halamka was responsible for all clinical, financial, administrative and academic IT. As a Harvard Medical School professor, he served the George W. Bush administration, the Obama administration and governments around the world planning their health care information (IT) strategies. He remains chairman of New England Healthcare Exchange Network Inc. and is a practicing emergency medicine physician.
